Puzzling Properties is branded with the founder's friend, Gunk the troll, as well as the beautiful greenery and architecture of the mazes these trolls lived in.

backstory

This business was launched in 1986 in Buckinghamshire, England. Founder Charles Riddleton was a child when he got lost in a labyrinth in the woods. After a day of wandering through the terrifying paths, he met a troll named Gunk. Gunk led him to the exit on the other side where a village of trolls lived. They were crafty and mischievous creatures. Not wanting to go back to his life in the real world, Charles stayed, changed his name to Gump, and lived his days with the trolls learning their craft at building mazes and puzzles. When Gunk passed, Gump and a few other trolls decided to leave the village and share what he learned with the real world. He built his own house with a puzzling layout, and from there he created his own business building houses with the help of the trolls.
